It amazes me how gullible people are who are willing to read and believe man’s theories (like Darwin), but aren’t willing to read and believe God’s word. Why is that?

Scriptures reveal the differences between God’s true religion of factual instructions and man’s Christian theology opinions. It also exposes the false theories, philosophy, and errors of attaching pagan (man-made) traditions onto the pure doctrine God gave us.

It has been over 2000 years since Christ walked this earth and gave us the good news of a new kingdom to come. Since then we have been divided into over 4,300 different religious beliefs (see web site www.adherents.com as proof, or just look in your yellow pages) by man because of  his own ideas and theories, along with more different versions of the Bible than God intended. Man is the one who has screwed with it to the point where it is unrecognizable in some of the newer versions.  Many of those ideas and theories are not supported by the scriptures that they say they base their beliefs on. How could we get so many religions from 1 (one) Bible?

God knows man is prone to following his own ways which is why he made the first command, Deut 5:7 “Thou shall have no other gods before me.” This command and other verses that say “Thy will be done in earth” (not mine), as in Matt 6:10 of the Lord’s prayer, is what is supposed to keep us from following  man’s or our own will and ideas. God’s will and commands are always supposed to come first.
God - (Webster’s) – 1. deity; typically considered objects of worship. 2. An image that is worshipped; idol. 3. A person or thing excessively honored and admired.
Idol - (Webster’s) –  1. An image of a god, used as an object or instrument of worship.
4. A false notion or idea that causes errors in thinking or reasoning.

This is where most people go wrong in their studies of the Bible. They assume man has the right to interpret the Bible in their own ways, and that man is right with his own thinking and reasoning. God’s laws weren’t designed for us to argue, debate or insist our feelings and ideas should be taken into account first. We don’t have the right to dictate our beliefs to God or the Bible. All religious beliefs must stand the test of the word of God, and be instantly discarded as erroneous when they don’t agree with Christ’s and God’s true religion based on the ten commands. Col 1:18 And he (Christ) is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the first born from the dead; that in ALL things he might have the preeminence. When the Bible instructs us to do one thing and your religious denomination tells you to do something opposite, you are the one who will be held accountable for your actions or inactions. And it will be your life that suffers the consequences not the leaders of your denomination. All Bible students, (which means every one who claims Christ as their savior) need to read the Bible text carefully, and then take the time to think rationally and be circumspect, Ex 23:13 Circumspect - (Webster’s) Careful to consider all related circumstances before acting, judging or deciding; cautious; careful. And, yes we are supposed to read the Bible for ourselves. If you do not know what the gospel says, then you are a stranger to God and Christ. 2 Tim 2:15 tells us, Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workmen that needeth not be ashamed… and Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that reads and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein. If we put God’s #1 command first of “no other gods” (or idols), then we will never be able to go wrong again by putting our reasoning first.

We’re also told in 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. I have met many “Christians” who were offended by the very scriptures that Christ and God gave that we are to use for our instruction. I have also met other people who thought that their own thoughts and beliefs were right even when it contradicts what God and Christ teach. Apparently they have not read 1 Cor 11:31 that says For if we would judge ourselves (and use God’s word for our correction, whether we like it or not), we should not be judged. For those people who are not sure about the Bible’s validity, or the people who wrote them, A good question to clear up the matter would be, “Do you really think that God would pick people he doesn’t trust to write his words for him that we are to learn from? God would not mislead us, so the answer would have to be NO. If he trusts his writers, we can too.

Satan also knows man is prone to following his own ways because man likes to be as important as God and have people follow him, just as in Gen 3: 1-5 when the serpent Satan beguiled eve with his subtle (cunning, crafty)  ways into thinking she could be as a god too. What people don’t realize is that Satan is the one who is putting the feelings of “I want to be like a god, or what I say is important too” attitudes into man and causing his separation from God. Satan’s ultimate goal in all of our lives is to separate us from following God and Christ and to follow anything he can get us to believe as long as it’s not God. Unfortunately, the people who do not have the positive facts of God and his ways will be gullible enough to listen to and believe Satan and man’s ways. Satan always uses reasoning to deceive us into following man’s ways. We need to stop believing man’s reasoning, and ONLY believe God’s factual scriptures. When we follow men and / or Satan’s reasoning and belief we loose everything, our salvation, our protection from God, our quality of life and eventually our life. God’s actual scriptures are what we are to base our belief on. God has been around for over 6000 years, so he has far more knowledge than we do even if we live to be 100. We are to submit humbly to God and say “ your smarter than I am, and have been around a lot longer than me, so I will do what you say is best.” It does us no good at all to argue with God, for we will always loose the debate. We grow closer to him when we humbly accept him, and receive more love and joy in our lives and hearts as we learn of his love and devotion for us. God wants us to set our ideas and perspective aside and see and experience his perspective that he and Christ have. To do this it helps to picture your self sitting on a cloud looking down at earth, and seeing and hearing the bickering and finger pointing we do on a daily basis when it comes to religious beliefs and who’s right. And then ask our self, “Would God be pleased with me for putting my wants / thoughts / ideas first before his?” If we still bicker after that, then we need to get the devil out of us. Its best if we always remember James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Before we begin the teachings of this section, it would be a good idea to set all preconceived ideas, thoughts and teachings aside and ask God in prayer to send his Holy Spirit into us so it can guide us in our studies of his word. If we ask, he will give us knowledge, wisdom, intelligence and understanding to learn what he wants us to learn. But, we have to ask first. The best part of this is that the wisdom, knowledge and understanding help us in all areas of our lives, not just biblical training. Who wouldn’t want that?

Opinion - (Merriam - Webster’s) - is defined as “a belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge.” In this day and age the people of this world have forgotten who has absolute “Positive Knowledge” of God’s Bible, and it is God and Christ ONLY. It is now time to get back to the factual scriptures God and Christ put into their Bible that tells us how we are to behave and what we are supposed to believe. The only way we can receive factual instruction and wisdom is from actually reading the Bible and learning from the instruction God put into it. We then need to stand firm in that knowledge so we’re no longer easily swayed by man or Satan’s reasoning.

Further study of the words Theory and Theology also clear up some misconceptions.

Theory – (Standard’s dictionary) [Gk. Theoria, View, speculation] 1. A plan or scheme existing in the mind only: a speculative or conjectural view of something. (Webster’s) Supposition put forward to explain something; speculation; exposition of general principles as distinct from practice and execution; general idea; notion. (Merriam-Webster) 1. The general principles drawn from any body of facts. 2. A plausible or scientifically acceptable general principle offered to explain observed facts.
3. Hypothesis, guess. 4. Abstract thought.

(Further studies will show that many of the FACTS [actual scriptures], in the Bible were ignored, like the word Idol. Go back and read the definition for Idol, a few paragraphs back).

Theology – (Standard’s) 1. The study of religion, culminating in a synthesis or philosophy of religion.
2. A body of doctrines as set forth by a particular church or religious group. (Where in the Bible does God give them the authorization to do that?) (Merriam-Webster) 1. The study of religion and of religious ideas and beliefs. 2. A theory or system of theology.

(Mormons, Catholics, Jehovah Witnesses, Islams, certain sects of Judaism and many others have all written their own Bibles and established their own doctrines without authorization from God and separate from or in addition to God's teachings. This is how Satan has deceived us, through man).

It certainly looks like Theory and Theology lead to the same thing.

Synthesis – (Standard’s) 1. The assembling of separate or subordinate parts into a whole. 2. A complex whole composed of originally separate parts. (The Bible is already a whole, complete with instructions for our lives. What “parts” did theologians add that we don’t know about and have been mislead with?)

Philosophy - (Standard’s) 1. The inquiry into the most comprehensive principles of reality in general, or of some sector of it, as human knowledge or human values. 2. The love of wisdom, and the search for it. 2. The study of beliefs regarding God, existence, conduct, thought, and of man’s relation with the universe.

Philosophy leads to theory, speculation, conjecture and guess, and robs and leads us away from the good teachings God and Christ has for us. The Bible clearly tells us not to be lead by philosophy for it will spoil and rob us of salvation for following man instead of God and Christ. Our religious relationship and education is supposed to come from God and be with God, not man or the universe.

Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Spoil –  (Webster’s New Encyclopedia) to damage, to injure, to cause to decay; to harm character by indulgence, (spoiled child).

Spoil in this essence implies we would be robbed if we are enticed away from God and Christ through philosophy and vain teachings of man. (See Strong's #4812 G). Other synonyms that apply to the verse would be- booty, seduce. despoil, rob, induce, lead away. Seduce means to mislead, to lead astray, to persuade to do something disloyal, to entice; lure. In Merriam-Webster Dictionary - spoil vb 1. Rob, pillage. 2. To damage seriously; ruin. Syn, injure, harm, hurt, mar.

These definitions make it clear that theology and philosophy lead us away from God’s true religion, and the only one that can provide us the Holy Spirit, good health and the blessings we need to have good lives.

Additional words to look up are; vain, deceit,  rudiments or any other words for better clarification. Now lets look up speculate, conjecture, and guess. (All other underlined words should also be looked up, to help with further clarification. Its amazing what we can learn from a dictionary).

Speculate – (Standard’s) To form conjectures regarding anything without experiment; theorize; conjecture. (Webster’s) to make theories or guesses.

Conjecture – (Standard’s)  To conclude from incomplete evidence; guess, infer. (Webster’s) n. A guess; an opinion founded on insufficient proof; surmise; inference; v.t. to guess, to infer on insufficient grounds; to surmise.

Guess – (Merriam-Webster’s) To form an opinion from little or NO evidence. (Webster’s) To form a judgment or estimate of something without actual knowledge or enough facts for certainty; conjecture; surmise.

WOW, did you catch all that? Now go back and highlight everything that says “incomplete, little or no evidence, without experiment, insufficient proof or grounds, or without actual knowledge” and realize that this is what theologians are basing their religious theories on. They are also basing it on “notions, ideas and opinions” that God considers “idolatry.” (Go back and read the section on “opinion” to refresh you on who has positive knowledge of the Bible). Theologians have incomplete or not enough information to teach you the Bible. (Apparently they are not required to read and study the entire Bible in order to receive their degrees), Now… don’t take my word for all this. Go to your own dictionaries and Bible and read these definitions and passages for yourself. Only after doing the research can a person make an intelligent choice of who to believe and follow for their belief. Now… Why would any person want to speculate, conjecture, theorize or guess when it comes to their souls, salvation, quality and quantity of life????? And WHY would any person want to leave their salvation in the hands of people who obviously don’t have the wisdom or enough information to teach them how to have a good life or how to get to heaven????????? ESPECIALLY when the information is available in the Bible and all we have to do is read it for our self and let Christ and God lead us with their wonderful wisdom. We don’t have to guess, God and Christ tell us how to have a good life. Satan knows he can deceive us into following our own ways (or another man’s – like his) and rob us of the wisdom and knowledge God has for us to have a successful life and then rob us of our salvation too because we were too lazy to read God’s word for our self.  Satan’s job has always been to lead us away from God and Christ and he’s darned good at it after 6000 years of practice. It is our job to check everything man teaches us with God’s and Christ’s teachings and then believe God and Christ before we believe man. Our salvation, safety and quality of life comes from God, NOT man. Let us cleanse our minds of all false theories so God can reveal himself to us. We are told in Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we ought to obey God rather than men.

A person doesn’t have to take theology classes, be a scholar or get a Master’s degree in order to learn the Bible and have a relationship with God. In fact he would prefer that we come to him in a humble fashion with desire in our hearts to know him personally and then ask him for his intelligence, wisdom, knowledge and understanding we need to get to know him and guide us in our studies of him. God is as human as we are with the same feelings of love, generosity, compassion, desire, anger, loyalty, and longing for people to love him and accept him just like we want to be loved and accepted by others. We can learn far more with an open heart and mind to him and with the help of his Holy Spirit than going to school to learn only what the schools wants to teach us. (I’ve checked their curriculums, the most important parts of the Bible contents aren’t taught, which explains why theologians don’t have enough information to teach others properly). In the churches of our day, God’s revelation has taken a back seat to man’s false theology which is really just intellectual reasoning about God. It’s more important to have a relationship with God than just knowing about him. It is only through revelation (God revealing himself to us) that we can truly experience him. That is not possible through reason. Theologians and people in general don’t know that Satan keeps inserting his ideas into people who want to become religious leaders, and beguiles them into following the ideas he gives instead of sticking to the positive factual instructions of God. (To those who are theologians now or studying to be theologians at the present time, I’m sorry if any of this offends you, but please don’t take this personally. It’s not your fault, as you have also been deceived by the master of deceivers, Satan).

Many theologians of the past have been taught to add traditions made by men to our religious belief of Christianity. Many didn’t know or didn’t realize, (or learn from the scriptures), that man’s customs are not to be added to God’s word or doctrine.

Rev. 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book; And if any man shall take away from the words of this book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Deut. 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

These man made pagan traditions is why Christ said in Mark 7:6-7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. Some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Christ from Jerusalem and asked, why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? Matt 15:2-3 and Christ replied, and why do you break the commandments of God for the sake of your traditions?

Plague – 1. Anything that afflicts or troubles, calamity, scourge. 2. Any contagious epidemic disease that is deadly. This is why there is so much disease now.

The book “The Incomplete Person” gives far more information on the plagues and calamities we are given as a consequence for our wrongs of adding man's pagan traditions to God's word. The book not only would help theologians to understand the Bible better, but is written in laymans terms for individuals to understand the Bible better too. It also gives all the proper biblical concepts for believers to know how to receive the blessings they need to live a highly blessed life. I highly recommend
reading it.
