Can’t afford health care costs and insurance anymore? Are you tired of being sick all the time? Did you know that God has the best health care plan that costs nothing to establish? Did you know there are two simple rules we can follow that would prevent us from getting 90%* of the diseases in the world now?

In our society now people are suffering from numerous diseases that are driving up health care costs and insurance to the point that nobody can afford it any more. The questions we should be asking ourselves is “Why are we having all these diseases?” And “What can we do to prevent them?” The majority of the people of our society claim they are of the Christian faith, but yet they are also the sickest even though we are told throughout the N.T. that Christ is the one who heals us of our diseases. Could there possibly be something we are missing in the scriptures that would tell us why we’re so sick with so many diseases? Let us allow God and Christ to instruct us with their word on this matter.

God explains why and how people get diseases

These passages explain how the commandments are related to our health and well being. They show how important the commandments are to God and the damage that is done to us when we don’t want to believe or obey God. We cannot be angry at God for the diseases we suffer from should we choose to not believe or obey him on these issues. Believing man’s instructions more than God’s is the reason we have so many diseases now to begin with. We also need to realize that we should not hate something that is so righteous and good for our health. To hate the commandments would be the same as hating our own life. With that said, let’s find out how we can obtain disease free lives.

Ex 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Lev 26:14-17, 21, 23-24 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; ¹⁵And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: ¹⁶I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.  ¹⁷And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. ²¹And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins. ²³And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; ²⁴Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

Deut 28:15  But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: (16-68 lists curses)

Deut 8:1-4 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers. ²And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. ³And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Christ confirms the health care plan.

Matt 5:17-20 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. ¹⁸For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. ¹⁹Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Matt 19:17d but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

John 14:15, 21 If ye love me, keep my commandments. ²¹He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Matt 4:4 It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

1 John 5: 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Hearken - means to hear intelligently, of attention, obedience, listen.

Rule number one - Believe God and Christ when they say to keep the commandments.
Rule number two - Obey them when they say to do something. It is for our benefit.

Many people have been taught that the commands were for the ancient people of Israel, but if that were true then why does Christ also tell the people of today to keep them? God and Christ make it perfectly clear the importance of keeping the commandments. They have not been done away with and they are for every person that lives on this earth. They are not only for righteousness’ sake but for the sake of our own health and prosperity. The commandments are the basis of the health care plan. The sooner our entire society starts keeping them correctly the sooner we can all benefit by reducing the health care costs that are rampant in our world today. The fact that some religious sectors promote changing or not keeping them is the reason our nation is so sick now with numerous diseases and health problems. Many of the pastors and church leaders of today have not been taught in seminary the importance of the commands, the why of them and how to keep them correctly.

God and Christ Heal Us

The following scriptures tell us who has the power to heal our bodies of the diseases we have.
They let us know that if we listen to God and obey him that he will bless us with good health and other blessings throughout our whole lives.

Deut 7:12-15  Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:  ¹³And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. ¹⁴Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. ¹⁵And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

This is a good reason why we shouldn’t hate other people.

Ex 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Pr 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. ²¹Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. ²²For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 

Jer 30:17a For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD;

Matt 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matt 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

The fist step to be taken to turn our lives around in order to be healed of the diseases we now have is learning the commandments so we can no longer be deceived into following man’s instructions instead of God’s. Christ lets us know throughout the N.T. that he can heal us of all our diseases. It all comes down to our belief, obedience and faith in both of them and the power of their abilities to heal.

Here is a sample of the things we are to obey God and Christ in.

~ If Christ says “keep the commands” (Matt 5:17-20 and Deut 5:6-21) and man says don’t keep
   the commands, do what Christ says to do and keep them.

~ If God says “have no graven images” (command 2 – Deut 5:8-9) and man says you can have
   the cross graven image, then do what God says and not have them.

~ If God and Christ say “keep seventh day Saturday Sabbath” (command 4 – Deut 5:12 and Heb
   4:1-11), and man says keep first day Sunday Sabbath, then keep the seventh day Saturday
   Sabbath that God commanded the Sabbath to be on and sanctified as Holy. God didn’t sanctify
   the first day of the week as Holy.

God and Christ are the ultimate authority on all these things. It is through obedience to them that we receive good health and salvation and not through man. This is how we get disease free lives, by obeying God and Christ in all these things. Not man!!

I highly recommend it to the people who want to live a disease and problem free life like I have been able to do for that past 50+ years.  Once a person starts putting into practice the things God says is right and starts taking the proper steps outlined in the book they should see a lot of their diseases being healed.

* NOTE: The reason I say we can avoid 90% of the disease is that sometimes God uses diseases to test us to see if we will continue to be faithful to him no matter what kinds of trials he puts us through. Another small percentage of that is stupid things we do to ourselves that gives us medical problems, (like drug or alcohol abuse.). Job went through a disease trial of boils, but he stayed faithful to God through the whole trial. We can do the same and prove our love for God too.
